The Brazilian city of Pompeia (SP) has signed the Venice Declaration, joining the international Inclusive Cities for Sustainable Families project, created in 2018 by the IFFD and Italy’s Veneto Region and coordinated in Brazil by Family Talks. Mayor Diogo Ceschim signed it at a ceremony on August 10. Pompeia becomes the twelfth Brazilian member, alongside cities and states such as São Paulo, Paraná and Minas Gerais, in a global network that also includes Mexico, France, Greece, Italy and Poland. Members commit to sharing best practices for strengthening families.
