Friuli-Venezia-Giulia (Italy),
Friuli-Venezia-Giulia has received the 2026 IFFD Award for pioneering family-oriented policies for all family members including healthy habits for older persons and accessibility for persons with disabilities. As a Signatory of the Venice Declaration of the Inclusive Cities for Sustainable Families Project, Friuli-Venezia-Giulia has become an international reference point for demographic resilience and sustainable family development.
Best Place for Working Parents (United States),
The Best Place for Working Parents® has been honored with the 2026 IFFD Award for proving that family-friendly is business-friendly. Backed by national research and its top 10 evidence-based policies measuring the return of investment, the initiative helps businesses of all sizes adopt low- or no-cost practices that boost employee attraction, retention, and productivity while strengthening families.
As usual, the IFFD Awards Ceremony will take place during the IFFD Briefing at the United Nations Headquarters next February.
