The International Federation for Family Development (IFFD) is pleased to welcome Ignacio Lasarte and Rocío Ramos, who will represent IFFD as Youth Representatives to the United Nations in New York over the coming months. They are now beginning a new stage, from which we hope they will gain valuable learning, experience, and opportunities for international dialogue.

Ignacio, a final-year student of Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, and Rocío, a graduate in Philosophy, Politics and Economics (Bilingual) from the University of Navarra, bring a strong academic background and a firm commitment to social development, contributing the perspective of young people to the major global debates taking place within the United Nations framework.

During their time as IFFD Youth Representatives, Ignacio and Rocío will participate in several United Nations commissions, including the Commission for Social Development (CSocD), the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), the Commission on Statistics, and the Commission on Population and Development (CPD).

IFFD warmly welcomes them to this new responsibility and wishes them a path full of personal and professional growth, confident that their participation will help strengthen the presence and engagement of young people in international forums.

Welcome to IFFD and to this new stage at the United Nations!
