This week marks the beginning of an intensive training program for the participants of the Erasmus+ IPC – Facultés Libres – IFFD – Family Perspective Internship. These talented interns, selected from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds, will be undertaking research-focused placements at two leading institutions in the field of social services and aging: the Istituto per Servizi di Ricovero ed Assistenza agli Anziani (ISRAA) in Italy and the Instituto Valenciano de Servicios Sociales in Spain.
The training week is designed to equip them with the necessary methodological tools, ethical frameworks, and contextual understanding to meaningfully contribute to ongoing research programs focused on family dynamics, intergenerational solidarity, and innovative care models for the elderly. Over the next two months, until the end of July, the interns will be immersed in practical and academic experiences that aim to strengthen the intersection between social services and family-centered approaches across Europe.
This initiative reflects a strong commitment to international collaboration, academic excellence, and the advancement of family-oriented public policy.
