The event took place during the UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development and was convened by the Doha International Family Institute with the Permanent Mission of Qatar to the UN and the League of Arab States.
Ahmed Aref, planning and institutional development manager from the Doha International Family Institute chaired the event focused The Plan of Action of Family and SDGs in the Arab Region: Pathways of Post-Pandemic.
Various Ambassadors from the Arab Region showed their commitment with the Preparations of the 30th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family. They emphasized the significant role of the family unit in the achievement of the SDGs in the region.
