The official ceremony for the accession of the Federal District of Brasilia to the Inclusive Cities for Sustanaible Families network was celebrated on Friday 1st July at the HQ of the Secretaria Extraordinária da Família in the Capital City.

The event was chaired by Secretario Leo Vivas and Deputado Distrital Martins Machado. IFFD was represented by Ignacio Socias and Family Talks by Rodolfo Canonico.

In their speeches, previous to the signature and endorsement of the Venice Declaration, they emphasized the significant role of families in the achievement of SDG 11 and the relevance for Brasilia to be part of the international network of cities and territories integrated in the project.
