The state of Minas Gerais, located in southeastern Brazil, has become a new member of the Inclusive Cities for Sustainable Families Project. With a population of approximately 21.32 million people. Governor Romeu Zema joined the initiative through FamilyTalks

On March 13, 2026, Minas Gerais officially signed the Venice Declaration, accompanied by different representants of Family Talks, officializing it’s entry in the initiative.

Also in attendance were Rossieli Soares, Secretary of Education and Christiana Renault, president of Servas.
