On May 22-23, the Turkish Ministry of Family and Social Services hosted the International Family Forum in Istanbul, a high-level conference on family issues, organized as part of the Year of the Family initiative. Held under the theme “Our Family, Our Future,” the forum convened ministers from over 20 countries.

IFFD President Olivier Yao participated in a panel discussion on the challenges families face in the digital age. He emphasized the need for a shift from reactive to proactive policies, advocated for digital inclusion of parents, and highlighted families as nurturing grounds for values, not merely content consumers.

IFFD also hosted an interactive booth, managed by our representative Timothy O’Neill, engaging attendees and promoting our mission to strengthen family-oriented policies and young advocates.
