This decade may mark a strategic shift in how employers address the needs of working families, with forward-thinking companies offering more comprehensive and inclusive services to drive workforce resilience. To do it right, employers need to adapt the services to the changing expectations of employees, while keeping in mind the shifting gap between those demands and what organizations can afford. The additional challenge is to develop an accessible point of entry that employees, their families, and job seekers can use to find and understand the benefits the company provides. Maintaining a strong program requires a lot of time and effort from HR departments that can already be overstretched. But companies are finding the effort is worth it when they start to measure success a bit differently.
