IFFD is an official partner for the global conference organized by the Doha International Family Institute, part of Qatar Foundation, to mark the 30th anniversary of the International Year of the Family. The event will be held on October 30th and 31st at the Qatar National Convention Center.
The conference will feature a gathering of notable experts, policymakers, and political leaders for insightful discussions, roundtable sessions, and exhibitions. These sessions will focus on family-friendly policies, sharing best practices, and fostering strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing family well-being and promoting societal development.
One of the key speakers is Olivier Yao, president of IFFD, who has over 25 years of professional experience. He holds an Industrial Engineering degree and two postgraduate qualifications from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (Spain), specializing in Marriage and Family Education and Family Enrichment.
Ignacio Socias, in charge of IFFD’s advocacy talent acquisition, served on the conference’s Content Committee, and José Alejandro Vázquez, IFFD’s Director of International Relations, will manage one of the exhibitions. This exhibition aims to foster a supportive environment for families and to enhance attendees’ experiences of family well-being and support.
