1,300 parents, educators and young people from 37 countries from the 5 continents attended the 21st Congress of Family Enrichment and the 2nd World Congress of Personal Project of the International Federation for Family Development (IFFD) held at the Grand Ballroom of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino on February 23rd to 25th, 2024.
The event also encompassed the IFFD World Meeting of Family Enrichment Leaders and World Meeting of Personal Project Leaders, together with sessions for the training of moderators.
The congresses were held within the framework of the 30th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family where the delegates reflect and share experiences around the theme ‘Family Life and New Technologies’.
The IFFD Congresses have the mission to disseminate knowledge and values in favor of the family and the person. They are designed to facilitate learning and the exchange of experiences. Its International character allows to receive approaches from multicultural environments.
The Congresses were organized by EDUCHILD, a founding member of IFFD in Philippines. To date, EDUCHILD is present in 16 locations: Alabang, Angeles, Antipolo, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Caloocan City, Cebu, Davao, Greenhills, Iloilo, Makati, Palawan, Pasig, Quezon City, Sta. Rosa and Taguig City.
The next edition will be held in Rome in 2028.
