Decline in Number of U.S. Children Living in Father-absent Homes

As the nation celebrated Father’s Day, data released in the U.S. Census Bureau’s annual Current Population Survey, or CPS, showed that the number of children living without a father in the home has dropped to a nearly 30-year low.
