IFFD Foundation London Summit
In October 2019, the traditional IFFD Congress has been held in London, with more than 1,000 delegates attending the main Congress, 250 other young participants in the Personal Project Congress and around 300 in the previous World Meeting of Leaders. It took place in a magnificent venue, the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, located next to the Big Ben and the Thames and directly opposite Westminster Abbey.

Multi-lingual Moderators Training Courses
An Intensive Program for Family Enrichment Moderators Training was held in the same venue on 18th October. The program was developed in different languages simultaneously, run by Javier Reguart and Diego Barroso (English), Tomás Malmierca (Spanish) and François de Baudus (French).
Special meeting of International Family Organizations
A meeting with representatives of seven international organizations and IFFD with the UN Focal Point on the Family was also held during in the same venue of 19th October, to coordinate the future preparations of the 30th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family (2024).
IFFD Foundation London Summit
A special encounter of patrons and donors of the IFFD Foundation took place in the nearby Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel on 19th November, with the participation of Samuel Carpintero (Managing Director, IFFD Foundation), Javier Vidal-Quadras (IFFD, Secretary General) and Ignacio Socias (IFFD, Director of International Relations).
