A recent survey by the children’s charity Barnardo’s has revealed that three-quarters of children aged 11-15 are in favour of age-appropriate classes educating them on the dangers of sexual relationships. The results of the survey -believed to be the first to consult school children- support calls by those within the charity and education sector to establish compulsory lessons in the Children and Social Work Bill, which is currently being debated in Parliament.
