When it comes to what teachers think schoolchildren should read, the classics continue to dominate the reading list for primary school children. 500 teachers from the UK National Association for the Teaching of English and the Times Educational Supplement have contributed to this list, released to encourage children to complete their childhood literary education before going to secondary school in September.
