A survey released to mark the launch of Bord Gáis Energy’s second annual Little Readers campaign found most Irish children under five prefer reading and bedtime stories to watching TV, and that over half of Irish parents begin reading to their kids before they are six months old. Moreover, the younger children are exposed to books and reading, the more likely it is that they will live happily ever after.
